The Rotary Club of Wahiawa-Waialua has served the Central and North Shore Oahu for more than 70 years. Each year The Rotary Club of Wahiawa-Waialua participates in service projects that benefit the local community, the State of Hawaii, and several international locations. In past years the club has provided Christmas cheer to the mentally challenged, college scholarships to area High School students, dictionaries to Elementary Third Grade students, wheelchairs to Thailand, plastic surgery in the Marshall Islands, an ambulance to India, and medical equipment to Russia.

Members are business owners, managers, professionals, and supervisors who have been invited to join as recognition of their professional achievement and high ethical standards. Rotary's strengh is based on the diversity of its membership.

As a member of Rotary International, the club seeks to promote world peace and understanding through a wide variety of programs. These range from clean water and literacy to exchanges of scholars and professionals. The Polio Plus program of Rotary International has partnered with the World Health Organization to immunize over one billion children against polio and four other childhood diseases.
