I want to thank all who attended and especially those involved in preparations and making the dinner a Great success. As Dave mentioned, I was genuinely impressed with the event and how well it progressed. By the way there wasn't that much wine consumed as we still had a 3rd of the case left over and two half bottles. The left over bottles will be used for the "A's" of Hearts Game. I will say that our club is not the drinkers as most other clubs in the district.
Linda Coble had the group in stitches through out her speech, the music was excellent and by the way, Ken, Linda wanted to get the entertainers name and contact number to be used in some of the District functions if possible.
Decorations, room setup, everything was excellent, just too bad those committed did not attend but it was their loss not ours. I could name each individual who went beyond the call but I don't want to accidentally leave out anyone.
Everyone was great and it makes me feel so good to know that I have great people behind me and can depend on them to get things done.
With the group we have, we WILL have a GREAT year with many accomplishments to talk about in the future.
The scholarship winners were also impressed as I heard a couple of them mention that Rotary appears as something they would like to get involved in.
I cannot say enough about everyone and how they stepped up. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
