July 5, 2007 Speaker Hawaiian Electric (HECO) Peter Rosegg is a senior communications specialist with Hawaiian Electric Company. He came to Hawaii almost 35 years ago to attend the University of Hawaii and East West Center. He has an MA in Asian Studies and an MBA, both from the University of Hawaii.

Peter worked for Honolulu Advertiser as a reporter and editorial writer. He was a communications specialist for Governor Ben Cayetano in his first term and did public relations for ad agencies and his own firm before joining HECO in 2003. He has taught journalism, public relations, marketing, public speaking and writing at UH and Hawaii Pacific University.
