Kellie Cawley, Megan Bateman and Iman Uyeda are Employer Relations Specialist (ERS) with the Supporting Employment Empowerment Program (SEE). As an ERS they are out in the community marketing the SEE Program and recruiting employers to participate in the SEE program.
About SEE:
The SEE Program is a statewide initiative of the State of Hawaii, which kicked off in February 2005. This program is a subsidized work program, assisting our welfare population. SEE's benefits are two-fold -- assisting employers with their recruiting needs, as well as fill the employment needs of our participants. The SEE Program reimburses employers who hire our participants and covers the medical insurance for that person for 6 months. The reimbursement is the current minimum wage, $7.25/hr plus and additional 14% to assist with other costs, such as Unemployment Insurance, Workers Compensation, and FICA.
