Melissa Teves Pavlicek is an attorney in private practice in Honolulu whose work emphasizes government affairs, business transactions and corporate law. Ms. Pavlicek is the registered lobbyist for Western States Petroleum Association in Hawaii and has advocated for numerous state legislative initiatives, including Hawaii Women Lawyers successful effort to enact a breast cancer treatment law. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked at the Hawaii state legislature in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. She is a graduate of the Wm. S. Richardson School of Law and Baldwin High School on Maui and currently serves as chair of the Aloha Tower Development Corporation, vice-chair of the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii and a board member of the Hawaii Justice Foundation.
