Rick Price Committee chair of the Paul Harris Foundation to speak about the foundation and what it has done for you and the world.

Please make a special effort to attend our very exciting meeting at Dot's this Thursday -- and bring a friend. PDG Roz Cooper, "District 5000 Annual Fund Giving Chair" will be our guest and she will be presenting several Rotary Foundation recognitions to our members. PDG Roz will talk to us about how the Foundation puts our contributions to work improving the lives of people in our community and around the world. She has just recently returned from an NID (National Immunization Day) in Ethiopia and she will share that experience with us as well.

Immediately following the meeting is our monthly Board of Directors Meeting and one of the major topics of discussion will be the upcoming elections on December 20, 2007 for Club Officers and Directors. All members are welcome to attend this the board meeting, and it can serve as a make-up if you need one.

Any active member interested in serving on the board for 2008-2011 please make you desires known. In addition to three new board members we will be electing a President for 2009-2010, and a Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Sgt At Arms for 2008-2009.

This will be a great ROTARY DAY and a great way to kick off ROTARY FOUNDATION MONTH, so please come and enjoy the education and fellowship!! And who knows, there may be some Hard, Cold Cash to match your contributions to The Rotary Foundation on this very special day.
