Iwalani Obrey Dayton joined Shriners Hospitals for Children Honolulu in January, 2001. She was formerly the Public Relations Director for the Hospital and is presently the Director of Development. Prior to joining Shriners, Iwalani was employed with the prestigious Honolulu Club for 15 years, where she held various positions of General Manager, Vice President of Marketing/Membership and Consultant. For the next three years, her primary focus as Director of Development for Shriners is to manage a capital campaign that is designed to raise money to build a new hospital in Honolulu.

Iwalani is married and has four children. Her husband, Tim, is the General Manager of GEICO in Hawaii. An avid volunteer for various organizations in Hawaii, she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing and traveling. Iwalani is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Aloha Chapter.
