Dr. Albert Honda was born and raised in Honolulu.
Dr. Honda was educated locally, at the University of Hawaii undergraduate programs, medical school at the John A. Burns School of Medicine.
Dr. Honda did his anesthesiology residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences System and a year of fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology at the Denver Children's Hospital. He returned to Hawaii in 1987 and has been in private practice now for just over twenty years.
In his quest for information about cardiovascular diseases he found an astounding gap in the American Heart Association guidelines for management of outpatient cardiovascular care. This gap was not only astounding it was deliberate. Dr. Honda incorporated HealthQuest this year with the intent of bringing this information forward to the people who would be interested, the American public.
